QuickSalaries collects minimal information necessary to provide our salary insights service:
- Usage data: Country, role, and experience level selections used to generate salary
estimates. These selections are processed locally in your browser and are not stored on our servers.
- Payment information: Email address and payment details (processed securely by Lemon
Squeezy, our payment provider)
- Technical data: Browser type, device information, and IP address (for security and
analytics)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide salary insights and take-home pay calculations
- To process Pro purchase payments
- To improve our service and user experience
- To comply with legal obligations
3. Data Storage & Processing
QuickSalaries is designed using a lightweight, stateless architecture.
- No user accounts: We do not require users to create accounts and we do not store personal
information in our own databases.
- Local storage: Pro access is granted using a secure access token that is stored locally in
your browser. This token is used only to verify Pro feature access and does not contain sensitive payment
information.
- Payment processing: All payments are handled securely by our
payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. We do not collect or store credit card details or other payment information
on our servers.
You may clear your browser storage at any time, which will remove local access tokens and require Pro access to
be restored.
4. Third-Party Services
QuickSalaries uses the following third-party services to operate the platform:
- Payment processing: Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy. We
do not collect or store payment details. Payment information is processed in accordance with Lemon Squeezy's
own privacy policy.
- Analytics: We may use privacy-focused analytics tools to understand general usage patterns
and improve the product. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify individual users. You may opt out
of analytics tracking through browser settings or tools.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access any personal information we hold
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of analytics tracking
- Request a refund for your Pro purchase (subject to our Refund Policy)
